Strolling through Florentine gardens and villas
Italian gardens of the Renaissance and the new fashion of the English garden of the 19th century. A walk through the Boboli Gardens allows visitors to discover this famous Italian Garden of the Renaissance, an open air museum created for the Medici behind their last residence, the Pitti Palace.
From here the itinerary continues through the Bardini Garden, the property, in the 20th century, of the collector and antique dealer Stefano Bardini. After a short lunch break, the Giardino Corsi and the Giardino Torrigiani concluding the day, introduce in Florence the new fashion of the English Garden. The owner of Villa Torrigiani will welcome visitors with a cup of tea.
This walking tour lasts about 6 hours. The tour itinerary can be personalized according to any visitors’ special request.
The schedule usually includes a first step to Boboli Gardens, followed by Bardini Garden. After a short free lunch break, the tour goes on with the garden of Villa Corsi and ends with a vist to Torrigiani garden with a cup of tea. Comfortable clothes and shoes are suggested. This tour is not recomended during Winter months.
