THE ITINERARY: we will walk along familiar streets, but we will tell a completely different story, in the name of settlements, myths, legends and discoveries linked to the ancient world. Starting from SS. Annunziata square we will enter in the Archaeological Museum of Florence, unique in Italy together with that of Turin. Here are preserved the most important archaeological remains found throughout the peninsula: Vase Francois, Arringer, Chimera and other masterpieces. After about an hour of sightseeing, we will go towards Duomo square, to discover the oldest building in the square: the Baptistery, a Romanesque masterpiece. Can we find out which are the origins of the city of Florence? Who was dedicated to this building and what still remains today under it? We will move to Piazza della Signoria, did you know that under Palazzo Vecchio there are the remains of an important Roman theater?
